Release Date and Pre-order of PlayStation 5 (PS5):
Sony has officially announced its release date of PlayStation 5 for the month of November in selected markets. To be precise, the exact date for the release of the console was 12th November in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea, and 19th November in the UK and the rest of the world. The pre-order period for the PS5 began on September 17 and allowed customers worldwide to order the console ahead of its release to ensure they get their hands on it on release day.

Price:
You’ll be able to buy the PS5 for $499.99/£449.99/AU$749.95 for the standard edition and the PS5 Digital Edition for $399.99/£359.99/AU$599.95 since November 12. However, you can order it in a specific market with some discounts. For the rest of the world, it would be available on the specific dealers.
However, all the above details it is still very expensive. Although Sony has announced the best features yet in the market the price point from its predecessor is quite better. But until we physically get our hand on the new PlayStation 5 (PS5), we cannot really define its detailed performance.
