Tesla Cybertruck
Not only the exterior but Tesla is also known for its super impressive performance. The Cybertruck offers a towing rate of up to 14,000 pounds which is much greater than what other pickup trucks in the market can tow. Covering more than 500 miles of electrical range, the Tesla Cybertruck will be an eye-catcher on the road.
Tesla is planning to start the volume production of its first version in late 2021 and for other versions, you will have to wait till next year. The base price starts at $39,900 for the single motor version. However, the price may increase or decrease over time.
Tesla Cybertruck Versions
Tesla is all set to provide three different versions of the Tesla Cybertruck. The rear-wheel-drive configuration is available in single-motor models, whereas Dual-motor and Tri-motor models have an all-wheel-drive setup. Elon Musk has promised to supply a few deliveries of the single-motor version in late 2021. The mass manufacturing of Tesla Cybertruck will start in 2022, but it is available for pre-order on the official website of Tesla.
Tesla Cybertruck Exterior
With razor-sharp edges and angular designs, the Cybertruck looks no less than a vehicle dropped straight out of the sci-fi movie Blade Runner. The impenetrable exoskeleton of the Cyber truck has an aerodynamic shape and sharp roof with flat planes. Its ultra-hard 30x cold-rolled stainless steel body is 9mm shell bulletproof. However, the tesla armor glass was not bulletproof as it was supposed to be. Designed with all dent-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and ultra-durable metal body, the Tesla Cybertruck ensures the ultimate safety of passengers.
Fun Fact: There are no mirrors on the outside of the Cybertruck.
Engine and Performance
The single-motor truck can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds. This will cover an electric range of more than 250 miles on a single charge. The dual-motor truck will accelerate to 60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds and cover 300 miles of driving range. The fastest tri-motor truck runs from 0 to 60 mph in 3 seconds with a driving range of more than 500 miles. The Tesla Cybertruck integrates Tesla’s vast supercharger network having a 250 KW charging cable.
Spacious and Comfortable Interior
Featuring 100 cubic feet of lockable storage capacity along with the tonneau cover, the Tesla Cybertruck’s interior is as crazy as it looks. The length of the cargo bed is 6.5 feet and can accommodate seats of up to six people with additional space under the second row.
The dashboard area has an advanced 17-inch touchscreen customized with a user interface that can control most of the vehicle’s operation. The air suspension is adaptable that helps to lower or increase the height of the Cybertruck as per necessity.
Towing and Payload Capacity
The towing rate of the single-motor model is 7,500 pounds. And the dual-motor is 10,000 pounds. Also, the tri-motor model is more than 14,000 pounds. This value is greater than the tow rate of any other pickup truck. The Tesla Cybertruck offers a payload capacity of 3,500 pounds.
Cybertruck’s Pricing
The base price of the single-motor model starts at $39,900 which is quite reasonable given its superior performance and design features. The dual-motor version costs $49,900 and the tri-motor starts at $69,900. With $8,000, you can add the autopilot feature.
There is still a lot more to unfold about the Tesla Cybertruck but we hope the price is fully worth it.
